Start of Semester Dinner

As the semester begins, we're excited to invite you to our Start of Semester Dinner & Iftar, hosted in collaboration with Legal Aid NSW.

This evening will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow law students, academics, and legal professionals. This event is not limited to those who are fasting; rather, it is an opportunity for all attendees to engage in cross-cultural understanding, build meaningful connections, and stand in solidarity with their Muslim colleagues and peers.

We know that many in our community are observing the holy month of Ramadan, and we invite you to join us in celebrating this special time. In the spirit of togetherness, we will also honour the resilience of communities in Palestine, Sudan, Yemen, and Lebanon, with a fundraising portion through Doctors Without Borders.

We encourage attendees to come dressed in their traditional attire.

26 March 2025, 6.30pm for a 7.00pm (approx) breaking of the fast.

Location

Western Sydney University (Bankstown Campus).

Fundraising

We will be fundraising for the Médecins Sans Frontières Australia (MSF) - Doctors without Borders.

Dietary Requirements: Our catering will provide Halal, Vegetarian, and Vegan options.

Refunds: Tickets are refundable if applied for within 48 hours of purchase. If you would like to apply for a refund, please contact vicepresident@wslsa.com.au
