01   About the competition

Three law schools.
A shared opportunity.

The inaugural Intervarsity Family Law Moot brings together students from Western Sydney University, the University of Wollongong and Australian Catholic University to develop their advocacy skills and connect with peers across the three law schools.

This intermediate-level competition offers students the opportunity to represent their university while applying family law principles to a hypothetical legal dispute. Competitors will develop their legal research, written submissions and oral advocacy skills, working collaboratively to construct persuasive arguments and respond to questions from the bench.

02   Experience and eligibility

Build on your foundations.

The competition is suited to students ready to build on their foundational mooting experience.
