Take your first step into advocacy with the 2026 WSLSA Junior Criminal Law Moot.
The competition provides students with a supportive and practical opportunity to begin or further develop their mooting skills. Participants will gain experience in legal research, written submissions, oral advocacy and responding to questions from the bench.
This year, the moot will include two divisions:
Foundations
Beginner Mooters
The two-division structure allows students to participate at a level suited to their experience.
Students may submit an Expression of Interest as part of a team of two or three, or individually.
