As the semester begins, we're excited to invite you to our Start of Semester Dinner & Iftar, hosted in collaboration with Legal Aid NSW. This evening will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow law students, academics, and legal professionals. This event is not limited to those who are fasting; rather, it is an opportunity for all attendees to engage in cross-cultural understanding, build meaningful connections, and stand in solidarity with their Muslim colleagues and peers. We know that many in our community are observing the holy month of Ramadan, and we invite you to join us in celebrating this special time. In the spirit of togetherness, we will also honour the resilience of communities in Palestine, Sudan, Yemen, and Lebanon, with a fundraising portion through Doctors Without Borders. We have invited Australia’s largest PLT provider, the College of Law, to do a PLT talk! Join us from 2pm to 3pm for an IN-PERSON info session and pizza lunch on Friday 8 September. The presentation will be held in room EA.1.22! The College of Law will go over how to mix and match intakes, study load, delivery type, work experience options and support to build PLT your own.
